Facilitation

There comes a time in every group’s development where they need to hold a meeting that no one feels fit to lead. Maybe you are tackling a difficult topic, want an outside perspective, or know that the work would benefit from a fresh approach.

I work with teams to design and facilitate meetings and training sessions with the goal of meaningfully including everyone. I use Liberating Structures and a participatory approach to work across levels in order to capture the wisdom in the room to push your work forward boldly. My past facilitation work includes:

  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

    • Supporting discussions around privilege, power, and oppression in order to develop common goals around improving your group’s DEI efforts.

  • Community First Program Design

    • Increase the relevance and impact of your work by identifying the community you want to serve and co-developing a responsive plan.

  • Self-Care for Educators and Nonprofit Professionals

    • A primer on the radical roots of self-care, context for why it’s important for educators or nonprofit employees to practice self-care, and facilitated work to develop individual self-care plans.

Does my approach seem like a good fit for you?
