Supporting The Austin Community After the Storm

Current Effort:

Supporting families with children who are patients at a Comprehensive Care Clinic, working to get them food, water, and other resources.

Here’s a list of our needs (as of Thursday, February 18th):

  • Drivers who can safely drive in the current street conditions (we are expecting it to be all daytime driving) for Friday (02/19) and into the weekend and next week (when hopefully the roads will be a little better.

  • Containers for water. We can find someone to pick them up and fill them and deliver them. Don’t count on getting these back.

  • Folks who can support Admin efforts - updating Google Forms and Spreadsheets, calling restaurants, connecting drivers with families and pick up locations.

  • Connections to restaurants, breweries, and other businesses that might be able to help us access food and water (we have funds to pay).

  • Donations - can be made directly to Sera Bonds (public health activist coordinating this effort, her partner is a doctor at the clinic we are supporting) on Venmo: @Sera-Bonds or you can give directly through The Abigail Keller Foundation that funds some of the operations at the clinic, they are organizing the local distribution: https://aekellerfoundation.org
