Cultivating a wildly supportive community.
Cultivating a wildly supportive community.
Supporting families with children who are patients at a Comprehensive Care Clinic, working to get them food, water, and other resources.
Here’s a list of our needs (as of Thursday, February 18th):
Drivers who can safely drive in the current street conditions (we are expecting it to be all daytime driving) for Friday (02/19) and into the weekend and next week (when hopefully the roads will be a little better.
Containers for water. We can find someone to pick them up and fill them and deliver them. Don’t count on getting these back.
Folks who can support Admin efforts - updating Google Forms and Spreadsheets, calling restaurants, connecting drivers with families and pick up locations.
Connections to restaurants, breweries, and other businesses that might be able to help us access food and water (we have funds to pay).
Donations - can be made directly to Sera Bonds (public health activist coordinating this effort, her partner is a doctor at the clinic we are supporting) on Venmo: @Sera-Bonds or you can give directly through The Abigail Keller Foundation that funds some of the operations at the clinic, they are organizing the local distribution: https://aekellerfoundation.org
I am hosting daily morning & evening planning calls to help coordinate if you want to get involved. Friday, February 19th - Sunday, February 21st at 9am CST and again at 7pm CST. All using the same Zoom:
